Email and App Notification Settings

Learn how to customize what notifications you receive from Bonusly across email and other chat integrations.

Updated over a week ago

Getting to Notification Settings

Profile Settings can be found under your avatar menu in the main navigation. Navigate to your notification preferences from the Basic Settings page in your Profile Settings by clicking on "Manage Notifications".

The Notifications page allows you to select which reminders and notifications you will receive related to Bonusly activity. We strongly encourage, as a best practice, keeping all of your notifications in place, as reminders are strongly tied to healthy platform activity.

How the Notifications Page Works

Your notification settings are organized in a table format with notification types listed by category. Depending on your company's integrations, you may see columns for:

  • Email – Always available

  • Slack – Visible if your company has enabled the Slack integration

  • Microsoft Teams – Visible if your company has enabled the Microsoft Teams integration

Bulk Toggle

You can toggle all notifications in a category on or off by checking or unchecking the checkbox next to the category name. If some notifications in a category are enabled and others are disabled, the category checkbox will show an indeterminate state.

Be sure to click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page when you have your notification preferences as you want them.

Not getting emails even though your notification settings look right?

If you have notifications enabled but nothing is showing up, check your spam/junk folder and ask your IT team to allow emails from [email protected]. If your address previously hard-bounced (or was blocked/marked invalid), our email provider may have automatically suppressed it. In that case, contact your Bonusly admin (or support) and we can help restore delivery.

Note: We can’t override an unsubscribe or spam-report decision.
