Admin Dashboard Overview
The admin dashboard is a one-stop shop for everything you need to make data-driven decisions about your recognition program. It pulls in data and information from other pages and reports providing a quick snapshot overview of important insights from your Bonusly account.
Navigating to the Admin Dashboard
The Admin Dashboard is accessible in your Bonusly admins navigation bar and visible to the following admin types:
Global Admins
Finance Admins
Reports Admins
To view the admin dashboard click on the Admin settings button above your profile button in the left navigation bar.
Participation and frequency
The first section of the admin dashboard gives you a company-wide view of how many people are taking part in recognition, how often they're giving it, how that's trending over time, and what you can do to improve it.
Timeframe: The metrics reflect the previous full month. The trend chart shows the last several months of activity.
Participation: is the % of users within your company that either received or gave recognition during the timeframe. This includes recognition from Awards and add-ons.
Note: This section appears once your account has at least one full month of recognition activity. Before that, you'll see a short message inviting you to check back after a month of data.
Metrics
Gave or received: The percent of employees who engaged in at least one of your active programs in the previous month.
Gave recognition: The number of employees who gave peer-to-peer recognition in the previous month. (Awards are not included.)
Monthly giving rate: The average number of recognition posts given per user in the previous month.
Each metric is labeled Great, Average, Low, or Top performer based on where your value falls in the Bonusly-wide distribution. The average for companies your size is shown alongside as added context, and each metric also shows how it changed versus the previous month.
Participation Trend
The Participation trend chart plots two series month over month so you can see how engagement is developing:
Participation — the share of employees taking part in recognition.
Users giving — the share of employees who are giving recognition.
Insights and recommended actions
Below the metrics, a short written insight summarizes what the numbers show, along with a recommended next step tailored to your account. Depending on your data, this might invite you to:
Re-invite your people — when a significant share of employees have never signed in.
Set a monthly allowance — when many employees have no points to give.
Connect Slack or Teams — when your team has no way to give recognition from where they work.
Turn on Bizy — to make it easier for people to write and give recognition.
Turn on the Bizy chat connector — to nudge people who haven't recognized anyone recently.

Participation — opens the Participation Report.
Points activity — opens the Points Activity report.
Ask Bizy about participation — available on Bizy-enabled accounts, opens Bizy to help you interpret your participation and frequency metrics.
Pro Tip! Use the recommended action in this section as your starting point — it's chosen based on your account's data and points to the single change most likely to lift participation.
Recognition quality
This section shows how well your team's recognition is written, scored for quality on a 0–5 scale how Bizy affects that quality, how it's trending, and what you can do to improve it.
Timeframe: The metrics reflect the previous full month. The trend chart shows the last several months of activity.
Note: This section appears once your account has a full month of scored recognition. Before that, you'll see a short message inviting you to check back after a month of data.
Metrics
Overall quality score: The average quality score (0–5) of your peer-to-peer recognition, based on how many of the five quality dimensions each one met. Only top-level peer recognition is scored — awards, celebrations, incentives, add-ons, and comments aren't included.
When Bizy is turned on for your account, the score is also split so you can see Bizy's effect:
Score without Bizy: The average quality score of recognition written without Bizy's help.
Score with Bizy: The average quality score of recognition written with Bizy's help.
Each metric also shows how it changed versus the previous month (for example, "↑ 0.1 pts since July"), or "No change" when it held steady.
Quality trend
The Quality trend chart plots your recognition quality score month over month. On accounts using Bizy, it draws two lines so you can compare:
With Bizy — the quality of recognition written with Bizy's help.
Without Bizy — the quality of recognition written without it.
Insights and recommended actions
Below the metrics, a short written insight summarizes what the trend shows, along with a recommended next step tailored to your account. Depending on your data, this might invite you to:
See how Bizy can help — when your overall quality has dipped below your recent three-month average and your team has used Bizy recently; encourages your team to use Bizy more often.
Require a company value — when many recognitions don't name a company value.
Turn on Bizy — when Bizy isn't enabled, to raise recognition quality from the start.

Pro Tip! The with/without Bizy split makes it easy to see Bizy's impact — if Bizy-written recognition consistently scores higher, encourage more of your team to use it.
Recognition Program Adoption
This section of the Admin Dashboard provides a granular view of feature usage within your organization. Identify areas for improvement and focus your efforts on maximizing program impact.
Peer-to-peer program
Total posts: The total number of user given recognition posts during the timeframe.
Total points: The total number of user given recognition points during the timeframe.
Reach: The percentage of users reached by the program.
Awards program
Total posts: The total number of recognition posts given by Manual awards in given timeframe.
Total points: The total number of recognition points given by Manual awards in given timeframe.
Reach: The percentage of users reached by the program
Celebrations program
Total posts: The number of recognition posts by Celebrations in a given timeframe.
Total points: The total number of recognition points given by Celebrations in given timeframe.
Reach: The percentage of users reached by the program.
Incentives program
Total posts: The total number of incentives claimed during the timeframe
Total points: The total number of points claimed through claimable awards during the timeframe
Reach: The percentage of users reached by the program.

Cost breakdown
Gain complete cost transparency with a breakdown of rewards spend compared to subscription fees. You can even compare year-over-year trends to predict future costs and optimize your budget allocation.
Subscription cost
Click on the drop-down arrow to view the details specific to your subscription fees.
Subscription cost: Total cost of your subscription Year-to-date from the activation date of your Bonusly account. This information can also be found on your Plans & billing page in your admin tools.
Monthly price per seat: Total cost per user each month based on your subscription plan and contract term.
Current seats: Total number of user licenses for individuals to access and use Bonusly.
Rewards cost:
Click on the drop-down arrow to view more details specific to your reward cost in Bonusly.
Rewards costs: The total cost of your reward redemptions year-to-date from your activation date. You can review a breakdown of reward billing information on the Billing activity page.
Month-to-month rewards chart:Here you can view your monthly reward redemption costs year-to-date from your activation date and compare them to the previous year to help with planning and budgeting for rewards.
Average rewards cost: The average monthly reward redemption cost.
Unredeemed balance: the total amount of points users have earned and can redeem. This is the amount you would be liable for if everyone cashed in all of the earned points at the same time.
