How to Upgrade Your Bonusly Plan

Upgrading from the Free plan unlocks additional features and removes the 8-user limit. Here's how to upgrade:

Step-by-Step Upgrade Process

  1. Navigate to Billing Page

    • Click Admin → Billing in the left navigation

    • Or go directly to bonus.ly/company/billing

  2. Explore Available Plans

    • Click the "Explore Plans" button

    • Review Team and Organization plan features

    • Choose between monthly or annual billing

  3. Select Your Plan

    • Click "Upgrade to Team" or "Upgrade to Organization"

    • Choose your billing cadence (monthly or annual)

    • Note: Annual billing often provides cost savings

  4. Add Payment Method

    • If upgrading from Free, you'll need to add a payment method

    • Enter credit card information securely

    • Payment is processed through Chargebee

  5. Confirm Upgrade

    • Review the plan details and pricing

    • Confirm the upgrade

    • Your new features activate immediately


What Happens When You Upgrade

Immediate Access:

  • New features become available instantly

  • User limit removed (for Team and Organization)

  • No data loss or downtime

  • All existing recognition and rewards preserved

Billing:

  • First charge is prorated based on your upgrade date

  • Future billing occurs on your chosen cadence (monthly or annual)

  • You can view invoices in the Billing section

No Interruption:

  • Your team can continue using Bonusly during the upgrade

  • No reconfiguration required

  • Settings and customizations remain intact
