We've introduced a new monthly report that gives admins a clear view of participation across their organization. This report helps you track how departments, teams, and individual managers are engaging, and see how that participation changes over time.
You can select and compare data from any month in the last two years, sort the information to suit your needs, and export a CSV file for further analysis.
Navigating to the Participation by Department Report
Global admins can easily access this report from the admin dashboard.
Click on Reports in the main admin toolbar.
Select the Participation by Department link from the reports menu.
You will now be able to view the participation report and toggle between views.
Giving & Receiving View
This report helps you measure and understand how your departments are using Bonusly. This report answers key questions like:
Which departments have the highest (or lowest) participation?
What are the differences in participation rates across our departments?
How has participation for each department changed over time?
How does a specific department's participation compare to the rest of the company?
How does our company's engagement stack up against other companies?
Here's a breakdown of the key features and how your data is displayed.
Users: Total users listed in the department at any point in the selected timeframe. When multiple months are selected, this is the monthly average.
Participation: Percentage of users in each department who have given or received recognition in the timeframe selected. This include add-ons, comments, awards, celebrations, and incentives.
Users giving peer-to-peer: Percentage of users in each department who gave recognition to their teammates using peer-to-peer posts, add-ons, and comments. Awards are not included.
Users receiving: Percentage of users in each department who have received recognition in the timeframe selected, including peer-to-peer posts, add-ons, comments, awards, celebrations, or by claiming an incentive.
Participation 1-month change: Month-over-month percentage change in participation rate by department. If the timeframe of this report is 1 month, this column will reflect the change from the previous month.
Note: If multiple months are included in your selected timeframe, this column will reflect the change from the first month selected to the last month selected.
Participation Trend previous 12 months: Monthly participation percentages from the last 12 months. Export this report ti see the data reflected in this column.

The Managers & Teams report is designed to help you analyze how managers are engaging with their teams in Bonusly. This report answers key questions like:
How involved are my managers in giving recognition?

Note: For Managers & Teams, users must have a manager email attached.
