Can I give recognition privately?
Can I give recognition privately?
Updated over 2 months ago

While we recommend public recognition as a best practice to help foster a culture of appreciation in the workplace and build connections across your organization, Admins can enable visibility settings for recognition posts on the Company>Account settings page.

When enabled, this feature allows all users across your company to select the privacy setting of a piece of recognition.

If you have post visibility settings turned on, you'll see a visibility setting button in the top right corner of the recognition box. By default, posts will always be set to public; however, users will now be to select this button to choose to display this post only to their team or privately.

As noted in the description of each visibility setting, Admins and managers will always maintain visibility into recognition posts, regardless of the visibility setting.

The visibility setting will also be enabled for Awards in addition to recognition posts.
