Kiosk mode is for companies that use shared devices for users to access Bonusly. The program will automatically sign out after 5 minutes of inactivity, so users don't accidentally get onto Bonusly on the wrong account. 👍 

For security, when Kiosk Mode signs someone out (manually or after inactivity), Bonusly may also sign them out on other devices/browsers where they were logged in. They can just sign back in to continue.

In this article, you will learn how to turn Kiosk Mode on and off. You will need to be Tech or Global admin in order to administer this change. 

Kiosk Mode works on desktops, laptops, iPads, and other tablets in any modern browser with cookies turned on. There’s nothing to install.

Kiosk Mode works with SSO, so employees sign in the same way they do anywhere else.

If you want to use a point-of-sale terminal, check with your IT team first. Kiosk Mode only works if the terminal can open a standard browser with cookies turned on.

After you have signed into Bonusly, go to the Company>Integrations page: 

Under "Whenever, Wherever", you will see an option for "Kiosk Mode". Click on the icon to start Kiosk Mode:  

Once Kiosk Mode is up and running, you will receive a notification that it was successful, and a yellow banner will appear at the bottom of the page:

With Kiosk Mode on, Bonusly signs people out after 5 minutes of inactivity. Whether someone signs out early or the timer runs out, the device returns to the sign-in page.

To deactivate the kiosk mode you will need to be an admin. After you have signed into Bonusly, go to the Integrations page:

Under "Whenever, Wherever", you will see an option for "Kiosk Mode". Click on the icon to end Kiosk Mode:
