Company bonuses allow you to reward participation in specific initiatives. For example, you can: 

  • give a referral bonus if your teammate refers a new hire to your team. 
  • promote participation in wellness programs like "ride your bike to work day."
  • set bounties for specific tasks you'd like your team to accomplish, such as hitting sales quotas or solving a particularly challenging problem.

You can add the Company Bonus package to your account from your subscription page. Once you've added the package to your account, you're ready to set up your company bonus funds!

Setting up a new fund:

First, head to the funds page, here. Start by clicking the "new fund" button on the top left:

In the modal that appears, you can name your fund, set a monthly allowance, and upload an avatar. When you're done, click 'save':

The fund will now appear on your funds page 🎉  :

The default will be to allow no one to give from the fund, and everyone can receive a bonus from the fund. To adjust this, begin by clicking the "fund givers" hyperlink:

Next, add conditions to determine who is allowed to give a bonus from this fund. These conditions are based off of your custom properties determined on your user management page. You can require givers to match any or all conditions set. In this example, we'll require givers to be in the People team/hr department AND be located in NYC. Once you've set your conditions, click the 'submit' button:

Setting the receivers works in the exact same way. For our referral bonus fund, we'll want to allow anyone in the company to be able to receive this bonus, so we'll leave it as everyone. However, if you were running a department or location specific campaign, you could limit receivers to those that are relevant to the campaign. 

Giving a bonus from a fund:

Now that you've set up your fund, it's time to start using it! Anyone with the permissions to give from that fund will now see it appear in the drop-down on the give field:


Select the fund you would like to give from, and then give a bonus just like you normally would:

The bonus will appear in your feed and teammates are able to comment and add-on just like other bonuses:

Decommissioning a fund:

Has your campaign ended? It's easy to decommission a fund. Just click the trash can icon to the right of the fund:


Want to bring it back to life? Just click the ambulance icon:

Where do the bonus points come from?
These points come directly from the company, and not an individual user’s allowance balance.

How do I pay for these points?
Just like other allowance points, you only pay for items redeemed, never any unused points.
