Company values are the foundation of company culture, but how do you know if employees are living the values? In addition to promoting collaboration, recognition, and high performance, Bonusly rewards employees for living your values on a daily basis.

As an admin, you can choose suggested hashtags for your users that align with your company’s values to start gaining insight into which values are most important to your team and which could use some TLC. By adding company value hashtags to recognition, you can help everyone in your organization understand what it means to embody your values and see how contributions of all kinds support your mission.

We’ve added a nifty new sidebar to the Bonusly feed to showcase the company value hashtags you’ve added to Bonusly. You can include 250-character descriptions of each hashtag to keep your team aware of and aligned with the values that are most meaningful.

You can also view a collection of the posts for each company hashtag by clicking on 'View posts with this hashtag' to see how contributions of all kinds support your mission.

Adding company value hashtags

To set up or update your company value hashtags and add descriptions, head on over to the ‘Admin > Company > Settings’ page. You'll see the option to add company value hashtags near the bottom.

You can add up to 12 company value hashtags by entering them into the fields provided. Use the description field to give more detail about your company’s values and keep your team aware of and aligned with the values that are most meaningful.

You can also set the bonus hashtag mode to 'Company Value Hashtag Required' to require all bonuses to have at least one company value hashtag. You can learn more about the hashtag modes in this Help Center article.
